Johnston Middle School: AVID Program

Built rockets out of Sharpie pens, duct tape, and canned air with students from HISD's AVID program. Got a couple of good launches. One went roughly 60-70 feet with hang time of about 7 seconds. No recovery chutes on the rocket pens. So they shattered upon impact with Earth. :)
Upcoming Projects
We will be adding information on the Yates High School Communications Program and the Scholars Program in Spring Branch ISD. We will also be working on new sites for the HEART Program and the Houston Junior Chamber of Commerce.
